Description

The plot properties dialog is used to change the appearance of plots in Draco. The dialog allows the specification of series properties, axis labels, chart title, and scaling. The dialog can be opened from the appropriate button on the Plot Window toolbar.

Usage

The properties dialog contains three tabs:
Tab Purpose
Series Properties Changes series properties, such as color and line style. See either Data Plot or Histogram series properties for more information.
Graph Properties Allows changing the axis labels and chart title.
Scaling Controls scaling of the chart, including enabling autoscaling and manual scaling.

Graph Properties

Graph Properties Tab
The Graph Properties tab provides the necessary inputs to set and change labels appearing on the graph. The chart title, x axis, and y axis labels can be changed simply by typing new text into the boxes; the plot will automatically update in real time. The labels appearing in the legend (if applicable) are fixed to the variable names.

Scaling

Scaling Tab\
The Scaling tab provides the controls to adjust the plot's scaling, including enabling/disabling autoscaling. All Draco charts and plots default to autoscaling. Unchecking the Enable Plot Autoscaling will expose the controls for manually setting the plot scaling. Note that setting the x axis scaling on bar charts will have no effect. Pressing the Apply Scaling button will update all plot scaling.
